Brora was a life changer for me. I had bought a winter cap from them back in 2020 when the club was suffering due to the lack of tourism due to the ‘Vid. I hadn’t yet travelled to Scotland to play. I have a rule though…I can only wear the logo of a course that I have played. So, for 3 years the hat sat in my collection. In the fall of 2022 I went to Scotland to play hickory golf for 2 weeks…but never made it to the highlands. But, in May of 2023 I returned to what I now call my homeland, and I FINALLY made it onto the amazing grounds of Brora Golf Course - and fell head over heels in love. Seeing the BRORA GOLF CLUB gate was an emotional moment for me. The course was epic and grand and beautiful and nobody else was there except for my playing/travel partner and I. We played the round in awe. Brora is simply GRAND in scale and scenery and golf and soul. Brora is so much more than just golf to me, it’s a mindset. I cannot wait to return.

Thanks for putting your experience into such beautiful words!!!

I played it by myself back in June as my playing partners’ flight was cancelled. It was magical and I am going back as soon as work and family allow. Dornoch wasn’t bad either mind you!
